Our programs go beyond simply learning facts. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, conversation, food, art, movement, and reflection, we invite people to experience new perspectives, discover what we share, better understand our differences, and build stronger connections with one another.
The Journey Workshop
Step into a story. See the experience from a different perspective.
The Journey Workshop is an immersive, interactive experience designed to deepen understanding of immigration, migration, and the challenges people may face when building a life in a new community.
Participants move through simulations, stories, choices, and guided reflection that encourage them to consider experiences beyond their own. The goal isn't to tell people what to think. It's to create space to learn, ask questions, reflect, and connect understanding with meaningful action.
Global Adventures
Travel the world without leaving the community.
Global Adventures is a free, family-friendly cultural immersion experience that brings a featured country to life through food, language, art, music, movement, games, stories, and hands-on discovery.
Families can explore at their own pace, meet people with personal connections to the featured culture, try something new, and discover both the differences that make cultures unique and the experiences that connect us.
No passport required—just curiosity.
Community Experiences
Small experiences can open the door to bigger conversations.
Journey to Belonging also creates pop-up activities, presentations, cultural learning experiences, community collaborations, and special events designed to meet people where they already gather.
From exploring the history behind a familiar tradition to discovering a new food, word, story, or perspective, these experiences make learning approachable, interactive, and fun.
